The Baniyas U-17 Youth Football Tournament officially kicked off on Friday evening at the Shamkha Academy pitches in Baniyas, with an exciting start marked by strong competition among the participating teams.

Two semi-final matches were played on the opening day. In the first match, Baniyas Club faced Al Nasr Club, with Al Nasr securing qualification to the final following a solid performance.

The second semi-final saw Al Jazira Club take on Shabab Al Ahli Club, where Al Jazira claimed victory and booked their place in the final after a highly competitive encounter.

The much-anticipated final between Al Nasr and Al Jazira is scheduled to take place next Monday and is expected to showcase a high technical standard, reflecting the continued development of youth football.
