Isăilă: We must be more clinical and fight for the points

Baniyas Club held the pre-match press conference ahead of their upcoming fixture against Al Dhafra in the tenth round of the ADNOC Pro League, with head coach Daniel Isăilă and player Khamis Al Mansouri addressing the media.

Head coach Daniel Isăilă stressed that the match represents a new opportunity for the team to return to winning ways, saying:
“This match is a new chance for us to collect points. We must learn from the mistakes of the previous game. It’s not enough to show high spirit or play good football — we need to be more accurate and more clinical in front of goal.”

He added:
“We have to stay fully focused and pay attention to the smallest details if we want to secure the points and achieve a positive result.”

Speaking about the opponent, Isăilă said:
“Al Dhafra have been one of the surprises of the season. They play attractive football, score many goals, and have a strong attacking line, so we need to give everything to come away with a positive result.”

Regarding team availability, he explained:
“Khalfan Mubarak remains sidelined, Hassan Al Muharrami has not yet returned to training, and Suhail Al Noobi is also still unavailable. Despite this, we must fight for points, because history remembers results, not performances.”

He concluded:
“Our current league position puts the players under pressure. Achieving positive results will help reduce that pressure and allow the team to move forward with more confidence.”

Al Mansouri: I’m ready and our goal is to win
Player Khamis Al Mansouri spoke about the importance of the match and his personal readiness, saying:
“This is a very important match at a crucial time. Al Dhafra have been performing at a high level, but our goal is clear — we want to win.”

He added:
“I am fully fit again after recovering from my injury. I played a full match with the reserve team and I’m now ready and available whenever the coach needs me.”
