Isăilă: A Tough Match Against a Big Opponent – Our Goal Is to Secure Points

Baniyas Club Holds Pre-Match Press Conference Ahead of Al Ain Clash

Baniyas Club held a pre-match press conference ahead of its upcoming fixture against Al Ain in Matchweek 6 of the ADNOC Pro League, in the presence of Head Coach Daniel Isăilă and midfielder Fawaz Awana.

Head Coach Daniel Isăilă opened the press conference by emphasizing the importance and difficulty of the match against a strong side like Al Ain, stating:

“This match represents a new beginning for us, and we are fully aware that it will not be easy against a big and tough opponent such as Al Ain, a team that needs no introduction.”

He added:

“We conducted a thorough analysis of Al Ain and will look to capitalize on any weaknesses we can identify. I believe my players are responding very well to the instructions, and we now have a strong group available despite not being at full strength during the international break due to players’ national team duties. The squad is now complete with their return.”

Isăilă highlighted that the recent break was an important opportunity to get to know the team better, especially with the presence of several new players, noting that the period was useful for the technical staff in building team cohesion.

Regarding squad availability, he said:

“We will be without Hassan Al Muharrami due to illness, in addition to McKenzie Hunt and Lionel Wamba, who are suspended after receiving red cards. Nevertheless, we have full confidence in the players available to deliver a strong performance.”

Isăilă concluded:

“Our objective in the upcoming period is to collect as many points as possible and give everything we have on the pitch. This remains our top priority.”

Fawaz Awana: We Aim to Reflect the Positive Spirit Within the Team

Midfielder Fawaz Awana expressed the value of the recent break for the team, saying:

“The international break was very beneficial for us, as it allowed us to work more closely with the coach, and it provided him with the chance to learn more about the players and their style of play.”

He continued:

“We hope to deliver our best against Al Ain and reflect the positive energy we’ve been experiencing in training. We are not satisfied with previous results, and we know the fans share that sentiment. However, we have learned from that period, and we see the experience as a positive lesson for the future.”

Awana concluded:

“We promise the Baniyas fans that we will give our utmost effort on the pitch to restore the team to its natural place and achieve results that reflect the club’s ambitions.”
